How long does my order takes to reach me?

Once an order is placed, please allow up to 3 - 7 working days (depending on series) for your order to reach you as each candle is made to order. We hand-pour each candle and handmade certain vessel - the entire process is done manually by hand including pouring, bottling, labelling, packaging and shipping.

Our hand-poured candles are handcrafted with love and will take a little longer to produce as compared to mass-produced candles. This is to ensure that you receive freshly made candles for your olfactory experience to indulge! 

However, if you're looking to reach at a preferred date or urgent order, get in touch with us and we will see what we can do to help. Just hit us up, we won't bite hehe.

 

What is the shipping and processing time?

Please note our general processing and shipping times:

You will receive an auto-notification from us with a tracking number. That means that we have packed your order and await for our carrier partner to pick up the next working day.

For domestic shipping -
Shipping fee starts at RM8. Our carrier partner may take up to 1- 5 working days to process and ship your parcel.

For international shipping - 
We currently ships to Singapore, Australia, United States & United Kingdom. Shipping fees may vary depending on the recipient's country and an accurate cost of shipping will reflect at checkout. 

You can always refer to the tracking URL we provided to track your parcel. Unfortunately, we cannot do anything to expedite this. If you've come across any problem with your shipment, contact us immediately at hello@anbo.my.

Be sure to double check your shipping address upon checkout. We would not be able to change the shipping address once we have provided you with a tracking number.

Payment of any duty and import tax is the full responsibility of the international customer. You will be responsible for paying the taxes and duties upon delivery of the order. We do not cover the cost of customs, duties and taxes that are regulated and issue by your government. We recommend contacting your local customs office for information regarding these costs. EU customers From July 3rd, 2021 to comply with the new EU regulations all orders with value less than 150 EUR will include the VAT amount in the final price, meaning there won’t be additional expenses at customs. Orders above 150 EUR value will be handled directly at the destination country according to the local rates.
*If the recipient refuses the delivery due to a customs charge, the package will be considered abandoned and disposed of by the shipping carrier and therefore not eligible for a refund.

 

 

Do you offer free shipping?

Yes, we offer free shipping for purchases of RM99 (only for West Malaysia) and above.

 

Where do you ship your products from?

Our studio is located in Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

 

Do you offer discounts for bulk purchase?

Yes, we do! For our customers, we can offer a bulk discount if you purchase for more than 25 units. We'd love to discuss further with you so slide into our DM or email us at hello@anbo.my or you can fill up our bulk gifting form here.

Meanwhile, we are happy to work out a wholesale price with qualified retailers, you can fill up our bulk gifting form hereand we'll take it from there. ;) 

 

Can I customise the candle packaging for my wedding or corporate event?

What is your return policy?

Prior to shipping, all of our candles are carefully inspected for any damages and flaws.

You may however, return to us for a refund - for any damages that may have done to the product during shipment within seven (7) days of purchase provided that the candle is unburned and in the original packaging. Email hello@anbo.my along with a photo of the product to request a free return shipping label from us!

 

In what condition can I request for a refund?

You may request for a refund if any conditions below occur for reasons due to our error:-
- Wood wick is broken
- Vessel (ceramc/concrete/glass) is broken
- Sinkholes appear on your candle wax
- Wrong product
- Wood Box is broken

 

Can I request for an exchange/replacement?

We only exchange/replace items that are damaged or defective. We will replace items with a similar item of the same value.

Kindly notify us of any defects within seven (7) days upon receiving the item. We will not be able to process any requests beyond seven (7) days.

 

What is your privacy policy?

At ANBO, we care about our customers personal information! We'll only use your shipping and billing address and contact information to communicate with you about your order, to fulfill your order and for other marketing purposes.

We will not pass on your personal details to any third parties for whatever reasons. 

 

What are ANBO candles and scents made ?

Beeswax
To ensure the quality of our beeswax candles, ANBO uses only beeswax that are sourced from local beekeepers or imported from Europe.

Scents
We use natural essential oils and premium fragrance oils sourced from overseas to create alluring fragrances which are both safe and long-lasting. All of our candles are free of formaldehyde, phthalates & IFRA-certified.

 

Are ANBO candles formulated using safe ingredients?

Yes. All our candles are formulated using premium fragrances that are IFRA (International Fragrance Association) certified, phthalate-free, non-carcinogenic and non-hazardous. We go through tons of variations blends to make sure the scents produced are unique, ethical and eco-friendly.

 

How long do ANBO candles burn?

Depending on the size of vessel,
- 60g of wax typically burns for 15 hours
- 185g of wax burns for up to 46 - 50 hours
- 265 g burns for up to 55 - 60 hours
- 500g burns up to 120 - 130 hours.

 

What is the shelf-life of ANBO candles?

We hand-pour our candles in small batches and we do not use any preservatives; hence, scented candles typically have a shelf life of 12-18 months.

However, beeswax contains propolis which is well known for its conservative effects therefore if kept in an excellent condition - the shelf life of the candle can be prolonged and used after the recommended shelf life. 

 

What is the excellent condition to store ANBO candles in?

Store candle in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight or intense light. Keeping it in a dark place like a cupboard or box will protect it from fading and discolouration. Keep the wood cover lid we provided on the candle to prevent dust from sticking on the wax.

 

What are the best practices for burning my new ANBO candle?

We're glad you asked as the first burn is more important than you think!

To kickstart, burn your candles for 2 hours or at least allow the wax to melt from edge to edge of the vessels to create a “memory ring” and prevent tunnelling. Once a candle has this “memory ring,” it will continue to tunnel and to burn that way for the life of the candle. We promise this will make your candle last longer!

Do you offer samples?

We are a small business and unfortunately cannot honour retail sample requests at this time. However, all purchase comes with a tester wood wick so you'd get some hint of our scents.

 

How are the ceramic vessels made? 

These handcrafted ceramic vessels are a testament to our dedication to artistic craftsmanship. Each piece is a symphony of passion and skill, telling a tale of its origin, the hands that molded it, and its transformation from clay to a functional masterpiece.

Created with meticulous care! Purchasing one of our ceramic vessels is not just acquiring an object; it's embracing the beauty of imperfection. Allow up to 7-14 days for the meticulous process of creation and curing.

 

How do I get the remaining wax out of my vessel so I can repurpose it?

You can either:-

For glass & ceramic vessels - put the candle in the freezer overnight and the wax should easily pop out the next day, or;

For concrete vessels -
1. When your candle burn life is up, pour a small amount of very hot water into your jar, swish it around a bit and then let it sit for a few minutes. 

2. Pour the hot water out and wipe out any remaining wax with a rag or paper towel.

2. You can remove the wood wick tab with your finger nail or dull utensils. You can also use a spoon and carefully pick it out.

3. If there are remaining 
wax residue or soot, simply use some isopropyl alcohol to wipe them away.

What can I repurpose my concrete jar into?

Can I refill my ANBO vessels instead of repurposing them?
